Panel Speaker at Asia Pacific Business Forum by UN ESCAP

The 2023 Asia Pacific Business Forum (APBF) organized by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UN ESCAP) was successfully held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The theme of APBF 2023 is “An Asia Pacific Green Deal for Business: Driving the Green Transformation”, where business leaders, key decision makers, and emerging entrepreneurs have come together to discuss the decarbonization of business operations and the scaling-up of sustainability initiatives in the region.

Led by Dr. George Lam, the President of UN ESCAP and the President of Hong Kong-ASEAN Economic Cooperation Foundation, OXGRIN's CEO and co-founder, Dr. Simson Wu, joined as a panelist in the discussion on 'Seizing the Sustainable Growth Opportunity.' During the panel, Dr. Wu shared his insights with fellow speakers about the significant potential of green ammonia as a viable means for the long-distance transportation of renewable energy. He elaborated on how ammonia could be instrumental in positioning ASEAN countries as key players in the field of renewable energy trading.
